The Samedi Deck is a custom set of handcrafted playing cards celebrating Voodoo culture and in particular Baron Samedi, the Voodoo Loa (god) of the Dead. 
 
The Samedi deck goes beyond the pop culture version of Voodoo that is commonly encountered. Instead, it presents a unique aesthetic drawn from the long tradition of Voodoo imagery, beliefs, and culture, honouring those gods and goddesses which are not readily known in western society. 
 
The completed deck embodies a sleek, minimalist style that strikes a balance between modern sensibilities and classical designs.
